Based on actual events during the Vietnam War. German-American US Navy pilot Dieter Dengler (Christian Dengler) is shot down over Laos and crash land's in the jungle. Captured by local's and tortured by the Vietcong, he is sent to a prisoner camp where he meet's five other prisoner's of war. Realising that the constant American boming barrage is cutting off their food supply, the Vetcong decide to kill their prisoner's. Dengler decide's the men should escape but the group is split on the decision, is there any escape from their hell?A true story of survival... declassified. -
